Hi i am Capsula (Yosi Shamay) , born in 1978 and living in Kfar Saba, Israel. I produce Psychill ambient electronic music. i have released a full length album with Ajana rec and tracks on varius compilations. I am influenced from alot of psychedelic genre from trance to prog rock. i use alot of information about the self and reality in my music. I have a degree in chemistry and doing now MSc in clinical pharmacology also working ion a research lab for drug design and drug targeting. Astropilot (Novosibisk, Russia)

Astropilot comes from Siberia, Russia. Behind this name is the young and extremely talented Dmitry Red'ko.

Dmitry has completed education in the Siberian Institute of Communication and Information in summer 2007.

For the past 7 years he has been experimenting with music and sounds. His fabulous music is the direct outcome of not only his gifted talent, but also his true passion to the music and a lot of hard work in the studio. Astropilot is a dominator in his field and is becoming a brand name. His music is a reflection, and combines the culture, sights and sounds from his homeland.

Astropilot manages to generate a considerable buzz in Russia and is constantly grabbing attention from multiple directions... When listening to his music, it is sometimes hard to believe that behind these mature sounds is no other than a 23 years old lad... who is gifted with this rare ability to express his visions through his music.

Dmitry is a skillful and has a charismatic personality. He has been listening to The Future Sound of London and The Orb as a little boy and has been inspired by the writer Vasily Golovachev and alike...

Astropilot is the prince of atmosphere, a pro in his field. His music sweeps the listener away into a world of imagination and hypnotizes with its ethnic spices, rhythms and samples - and this is his very intention, he declares...

Astropilot has played at Shamanium in April 2005, Sun-Trance, the first Psy-trance open air party in Novosibirsk in May 2005, 3D party in May 2005, 4D Party in June, and the biggest of them all - Sunvibes 05, that took place in 22-25 July 2005. Lately he has been invited to perform in the Sayan Ring ethno national festival, that will take place this summer in Krasnoyarsk. In 2006-2007, he performed more in local events, including two bigger ones - Kazantip PreParty@Boomerang (Nsk, Russia) and Sunvibes 06@Mountain Altai. His aim is to bring trance culture and ideas into the Novosibirsk nightlife.

He is always looking for renewal in his performances. At the beginning, it was more downtempo psychedelic story, now his sets and performances are more danceable, include more ethno and modern rhythms.

Overdream (Kiev, Ukraine)

Ukraine based name Overdream are Makus and Dana Do. The band has been evolved in activities related to the music industry since the late 90's.

Makus, who is influenced not only by psychedelic trance but by ambient music, psy dub and jazz, functions as a sound engineer in a production studio in Kiev, specializes in TV and radio advertising and is considered to be a dominator in the local broadcast media. Aside Overdream he runs his solo project as Makus, with previous releases on Deja Vu Records, Sostoyanie Records and Cytopia Records. April 2007 Diogo (Becoming.Intense), Dmitriy (Astropilot) and Makus created a web-based label NoCode Music.

The first musical experience Makus gained being very young in a music school. Piano lessons, electronic music and the first computer somehow pushed him to start making his own tracks. Back in 1999, Makus started his career as a DJ and parties organizer. Being a member of two promo groups - 'Alien DJs' (underground electronic dance music parties and radio project) and ' S.O.A.P. Sound System' (psychedelic parties and radio project) Makus played his music on air and at the local parties. Hunders of hours of radio and parties djing gave Makus lots of invaluable musical and performance experience.

Dana Do is the second half of Overdream. She joined the band September 2006. Being a professional writer, journalist and editor, she was always into electronic music, and especially psychedelic trance.

Back in 2002 Dana was an Odessa promoter of psychedelic trance parties events and started to dj (she was the only local psy djane on the scene that time). In 2004 she was invited to move to Moscow, Russian Federation, and to start working at the label, production studio and publishing house 'Emergency Exit'. There Dana took active part in promoting chill out projects like "Mungusid - Influence of Moonlight", "Tea ceremonies music", "Opium Ceremonies music", "Safety Magic-Safety Magic" as producer and some audio-visual media projects like "Dirty Eva's Diary", "Presnya Dialogues" etc as producer and lyrics writer. After moving to Kyiv (Ukraine) in summer 2006, Dana joined Overdream as a producer and dj adding her magic flavor to the Overdream music and performance style. Since then the band has got releases on various labels such as Avatar Records, Zaikadelic Records, Skygravity Records, Sostoyanie Records, Helicon Sound System, Moon Station Records etc. The outcome of the collaboration is a super dancey night psychedelic production.

April 2006 Overdream has got a contract with Avatar Records. The long anticipated debut album WONDERWISE was released there Dec 2008.

Sphingida (Kiev, Ukraine)

The history of Ukrainian based project Sphingida starts in 2005. During the first year the band consisted of 3 members - Yulia Levchenko (synthesizers and vocals), Igor Orlovskiy (programming and effects) and Miroslav Kryj (solo and bass guitar). Later Miroslav left the project and from that time the bands structure didn’t change.

The guys were working hard on their style, production, were experimenting with different musical instruments and technologies and as the result received positive response from their audience and producers. After a year of creative raid, Sphingida found their original sound and started to take part in various psy-trance and ambient parties as a live-act and with dj-sets.

In November 2006, Igor and Yulia discover first Ukrainian label of psy-ambient, downtempo and chill-out music - Sentimoni Records. And from that time guys begin to develop their label.

In December 2007, released their first album - Sphingida "Origin". Disk becomes one of the most purchased of Sentimoni Records releases. The duo begins to actively give live shows and dj-sets at various parties and concerts in Ukraine and Russia. In each track you’ll find mind blowing mixture of gentle melodies, rigid synthetic sounds and dynamic rhythms. Wise merging of styles and creative approach to the music make the sound of Sphingida absolutely unique.

But in summer 2008, members decided to close the duo and start their individual projects. So Sphingida divided into 2 independent of each other's solo project - Irukaji (Igor Orlovskiy) and NeuRula (Yulia Levchenko).

Cifroteca (Kiev, Ukraine)

Iofik Yuriy, Was born in Ulan-Ude Buratiya part of Russia in 1982. At 1989 migrated to Evpatoria-city of Crimean peninsula, Ukraine. In 1997 discovered goa-trance music. "Uranium-92" - a club, which has great trance community. In 1999 experienced full-scale trance party for the first time. One year later, after long time spent collecting electronic music and have been greatly involved in all aspects of trance activities. April 2001: "Back to the future" - the party, organized by Semi-Conductors promo group. It was alloyed by DJ Jet (Iofik Yuri) and from that moment it organized a lot of trance-parties in Ukraine. First steps in creating music was with Fruity Loops & Reason, after this time he had alot of expirience working at a music store at proaudio department. Now Jet(Cifroteca) uses Nuendo with Nord Modular G2 and Access Virus TI as hardware part. From 2005 DJ Jet (Iofik Yuri) - one of the organizers of "Sky Gravity" electronic music festival. It runs every July on the Crimean coast of the Black sea. First CD by "Sky gravity records", compiled by Jet was launched in 2005.

Calamus (Odessa, Ukraine)

Calamus is one man project from Ukraine (Odessa), producing music in a key of experimental forest psychedelic trance. Founded by Vasily Sagaydak a.k.a Vaska Treetrolla in 2005.

NeiRula (Kiev, Ukraine)

After 3 years of creative work in Sphingida project, Yuliya Levchenko known as Zea, (sound producer, dj and co-owner of Sentimony rec.) decided to continue her way in own solo project. Project get name - NeiRula... From deep childhood little girl knew that her life will be very associated with music dimensions... as a result she finished music school as a piano player... and after some years passed, she started experimenting with electronic music. Several time come while Sphingida formed. Debut album saw the world in December of 2007...on Sentimony records. Zea performed with live acts in such big festivals like: Systo Palty (2008), Sky Gravity (2006-2008) and other parties in different cities of Ukraine. In October 2006 with Igor Orlovsky, formed first Ukrainian independent psychedelic chill-out label. Still take active part as a label manager of Sentimony, and have had a hand in all releases of the label.

Liquid Mind (Lvov, Ukraine)

Everything started in the early childhood when I, being a little boy, was listening to my parents’ "SPACE" recordings, and that was a time when I realized that I can hear, and the sounds of synthesizer fascinated me. Being a teen, I started searching for a music that captivates imagination, stiffens the spirit, and which allows to fly all the world around. I became interested in Deamdancer and other electronic styles, but could not find what I was looking for. I understood, that among 6 billions people I was not alone in my searches of electronic spiritual music. In winter 2000 it happened – I found it. I accidentally heard a beautiful music in an Internet – caf?, it sounded vaguely, but I recognized it at once. It was a Goa collection and psychedelic trance, there also was Astral Projection, Asia 2001, Etnica, X-Dream, Xenomorph and many other. Nevertheless, altogether with unlucky searches I started creating what I wanted to listen to, and those were my first attempts in midi-editor. As soon as I’ve got acquainted with Goa, it was a start-up of a new phase in my creative work , I began making lots of experiments, searching for programs, upgrading my computer, and developing my spirit, became interested in Eastern philosophy and psychology. After a long break in 2006-2007 I started new creativity path, focused on revelation of my own Ego, realization in music of my ideas, haunting me wherever I was if not creating. I create what I want, being influenced by nobody, I create for myself and those who come to parties, for Goa funs, I create because it is what I want to do. Now I write massive, melodious, spiritual GoaTrance.

Aisaid (Kharkiv, Ukraine)

Creative pseudonym - Aisaid. It was born in 1976y. in c. Kharkov. It studied writing music in 1997. It began into Fasttracker. After trying many musical programs it selected for itself Fruity loops. Flooting Grooves (Cape Town, South Africa)

Flooting Grooves is Pearce Van Der Merwe, born in Cape Town, South Africa. He has been surrounded by music all his life. After having tried various intruments at a young age including violin, piano and french horn he finally settled on the silver flute, heavily influenced by an encounter with Jethro Tull and the green and meaningful.

Jamming with Sean Strydom(acoustic guitar, electric bass) and his step brother Eliot Short (violinist, vocalist) the acoustic trio Infusions was born. After the last few gigs in Cape Town he left again for Europe where he floated and flooted in places like London, Edinburgh and finally settling for a 2 year course in Music Composition and Technology at the APM school in North Italy. The next stop was Amsterdam and it is here that he came into contact with the Trance scene, after a mindblowing experience at a party in a church in Ruigoord.

Amsterdam is definitely a meeting point and so it its not surprising that one comes across like minded people, in this case Dan Symons and Ajja Leu two musicians just getting into computers and production based in Lausanne, Switzerland. So with Moreno and Gaspard(who had in the meantime founded Peak Records with Tanya and Ajja) the Peaking Goddess Collective was born. The Collective played at various parties in and out of Switzerland as an organic live-act playing from chill to downtempo to groove-based psytrance. From here everyone branched into other projects while keeping the Collective alive. Dan branched into dub (Dymons) and nighttime psy (Dragons), Gaspard and Ajja started humourous, psychedelic project Yabyum (Ajja as solo live-act too), Moreno continued as Master Margherita doing deep ambient, downtempo grooves and ethno beats.

Chronos (Moscow, Russia)

Chronos is musical creation from talanted musician & producer Nick Klimenko (aka dj Shankar) also known as Hologram & Secret Trick trance projects in past from Moscow, Russia.

Since 2001 project brings lots of sacral & esoterical ideas through audio-visual performances, music & people combined in one source of vision & slogan - "Music for awakening consciousness".

The way of Chronos paths between ambient/ethnic influences and chillout/trip trance vibrations.

The word Chronos from ancient greek language translates like "Time". Like internity invisible by mind engine, symbol of our evolution.

Project was involved in more than 30 musical festivals in Russia & abroad. Released 35 tracks in 16 releases (compilations & albums).

Harax (Kharkiv, Ukraine)

Project "Harax" has been started in 2006 with my first track entitled "Light". That track was crafted at my home studio with a strong flavor of Nord Lead, my favorite synth of all everything.

"Light" and the following "chill trance" or "morning trance" tracks has been played by fellow djs in local clubs, collecting positive feedback and settled good base to further works, developed intention to write well composed, harmonic music.

Soon enough I've met Valery Kuznetzov (Sol) and Konstantine Savchenko (Castaneda), members of Solcast project. In process of excitingly positive and educative collaboration we've created Solcast version of Light, presented at Club 117, amongst Infected Mushrooms, SynSUN, Zymosis tracks, played there.

Getting new relations through the psyshine.org.ua, chill.org.ua and the net in general. Participation in Skygravity fest further enlarged my circle of acquaintance.

The style of the project has been worked out - classic trance sound with melodic, lyrical part added. Almost no samples, except for the drums and a bit of atonal noises. Eventually recording and processing guitar parts. Falling in love with analog sound - good set of generators and filters provides insanely wide palette of timbres, driving people crazy with either tenderness or fury.

Already Maged (Lvov, Ukraine)

Already Maged is Egor Yudin, who was born on may the 8th 1983 in an artists' family. Sounds of electronic music touched him at the age of 15, during his school days as a shy raver from Lviv - Ukrainian provincial town. A little bit later under the strong impression of IDM,experimental and rave music, Gosha took his first steps towards musical creation at Fast Tracker 2. Unforgettable acquaintance with psychedelic music happened at the end of april 1998 at a party organized by present good friends - Shiva Group and Trootootoo. Egor opens up as Dj Ogg and begins to organize psytrance parties in his own town. In 2000 he enters architectural faculty and takes to trash and pagan-black metal music. At the same time Gosha plays at youth theatre, rehearsals often take place in Karpathian mountains due to the young experimental spirit of the stage-producer. Then with friends Egor tries himself as a drummer in an unknown band. Finally, much affected by Egor's love of fantasy fiction, the conception of Already Maged project is borne the same year. First track was released in 2006. Presently the project is developing more and more, admist preparation material for first album.

Egor is also a producer of two side projects: experimental - 'Yum Tsgi' and 'Goa-Punk' influenced by suomi and australian sound. Until now both remain unreleased.

Shivattva (Odessa, Ukraine)

Shivattva started making music when he was a little boy. In his imagination he rocked on the greatest festivals in the Galaxy. His first word to mummy was AUMM, His first steps were made on the burning coals and broken glass. At the age of 6 he realized that he was never born and he never died. That conclusion inspired him for creating a new trance style - the mixture of foggy forest sounds and funky alien tunes. That was his way of showing the many-sided beauty of trance culture. Solcast / Sol (Kharkiv, Ukraine)

DJ Soliery aka Sol (real name Valeriy Kuznetsov) works as a dj from 1997. He appears at most popular clubs of Ukraine. Proggy, breaks, and trancy tunes are in his sets. Music creation begins even earlier. He has some trackers expereince. That time he was a part of RDD project (Valeriy Kuznetsov, Nikolay Karnaukhov). In 2000 RDD took 2-nd place as the best electronic project of Kharkiv City, Ukraine. Styles of RDD music varies from down tempo and trip-hop, proggy tunes to atmospheric D'n'B. Most tunes are unreleased.

In 2004 Sol collaborates with Castaneda (Konstanlin Savchenko) and creates Solcast project. Solcast music is sunny, full of energy and soft as Summer Sea. They participates Skygravity fest 2005 and 2007. In 2006 under Club 117 trance fest Solcast plays on one stage with Infected Mushroom.

Minimalist composer, music producer from Kiev, Ukraine. Started his first experiments with music in 2003. Dagas (Panama City, Panama)

Dagas music is currently being played by international DJs from around the world in countries like the US, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Denmark, Israel, India and the world most renowned psychedellic chillout music radio stations. This Panamanian psychedelic chill out producer and sound designer started in the world of music as a keyboard player and rock guitarist for local bands. He started studying and playing music from an early age producing electronic music as far back as 1999. Initially making psychedelic full-on and minimal psytrance which later on turned into Psychedelic Chill out, this has now become mostly but not solely his main style. While maturing his technical skills, and also his music, hes been combining elements from different electronic styles especially his favourites: Psychedelic, Goa, Goth, Dub music and of course some of his Guitar riffs. Besides being a dedicated music producer with a taste for chill out music, with subtle groovy patterns, deep pads and suppressive sounds, he also likes to create spaces he intentionally leaves in his music for his audience to fill in the gaps with their mind. Preferring the underground side of music, not the mainstream, and especially avoiding the use of sonic clich?s, the lack of dynamics and those rhythmic elements which are very overused in today’s electronic music which gives that cereal box appearance to many of today’s tunes. Electronic Music is not only for the dance floor or the Lounge area, music has to be enjoyed everywhere, that its raison d’etre.

Perpetual Loop (United Kingdom)

Under the name Perpetual Loop, producer Charles Massey releases down tempo, Psy-chill. Charles is currently based in Manchester (UK), and since 2004 has had several tracks licensed to compilations. In the summer of 2006 his debut album (Universal Flow) was released on Organic Records which made an instant impact on the psy-ambient scene.

Charles has recently finished off a few successful live performances around UK and at some festivals.

Zymosis / Magmadivers (Kiev, Ukraine)

Zymosis are Dmitriy Likhachev (aka Dimitro) arranger, keyboardist and composer, Grigory Sobinov (aka gree_shanti), keyboardist and composer, Alexey Ivchenko (aka Tigra) playing electro & accoustic guitar and Irina Kystovskaya (aka Hvoya) laying her beautiful vocals.

They are from Kiev [Ukraine]. Zymosis is a psy-project which has brought a bright light to the psy-culture over the past 10 years.

Zymosis is mainly composed of two people who share their mind and soul to make you fly into the depth of ambient and trance music.

Dimitro and Gree Shanti have devoted themselves to music and they continue to expand our consciousness.

Hvoya is an Ukrainian singer, songwriter and producer of electronic music. Although Hvoya practiced music from little up, it is in the year 2007 that must be considered as a start of a project. During the first year Hvoya was working hard on her personal music style experimenting with instruments and lot of music stuff.

As a result she got a sweet mix of hard noizzy sounds with a velvet womanish vocal, harmony of the feminine emotional soul and modern synthesized world.

Shiva3 (Crimea, Ukraine)

Shiva3 project from Ukraine was born in the beginning of 2005 and consists of two musicians: Averin Andrey (promoter and Dj Okujah from Euphoria promo), and Kartsev Alexander(web designer). Project works in such musical directions as forest psy, goa, full on,ethno-trance, psy chillout.In 2008, Shiva3 remains one of the composer Averin Andrey. All performances and new tracks were written and made only by one person.

Hvoya (Kiev, Ukraine)

Hvoya aka Irina Kustovska got her first musical lessons at the age of 3 years old when her parents (professional pianists) began to foster love for the music in their child.

After having got classical music education, Hvoya started her independent electronica career in 2007. As a result of her creative work, an unusual mix of a vibrant feminine vocal, refined idm-beats and romantic acoustic melodies has been appeared. During the last two years Hvoya has got on well in recording collab album with Ukrainian chill-out project Zymosis (released on Sunline Rec., USA), producing several tracks with Jukeen in Slovenia and Portuguese project Hexagon Heaven (Francisco Godikinho), Know How Project (Italia). Hvoya took part in many festivals, among them Gogolfest 09, Blue Bay jazz festival 09, Art Cooperation Jazz Festival 09, Firework Festival 08. In February, 2009, Hvoya released her first solo album "Flower". A debut "plate" was released on "I, Absentee" experimental music label in the USA.

At the present time Hvoya works on her 2-nd album 'Veil'. New sound of her tracks could be described as "Intelligent Lounge Music (ILM)". It is a charismatic and romantic down-tempo tinged with bright palette of harmonies and refined noizzy sounds accompanied by Hvoya's velvet vocal. Experimenting with a new sound, the singer started cooperation with a famous Ukranian dj and producer Alexander Minikin (Kievbass/Ottosiderspunk). The new album is expected to be finished in November 2009.

Senzar (Aarhus, Denmark)

Senzar is Thoke Fillip Anders Thomsen born sep. 1979, living in the center of Denmark, Aarhus. He has always had a strong love for the electronic side of music, in 1995 he bought his first psychedelic trance CD and also attended his first real psychedelic party. Since this first party, psychedelic trance has been a mainstay in his live, therefore, he began DJing at small events.

In 2001 - 2003 he was working on a cruise ship where he was able to harvest a lot of skills & experience as a DJ working with a multitude of musical genres.

His first steps into producing electronic music were taken in 2002, when he got his first production application, Reason 2.0. Since then he has worked much with producing music, from ambient to minimal/progressive trance.

Towards the end of 2005 he invested in many new production tools in his studio, and is now learning how to use them to their fullest effect.

His plans within production of electronic music are mainly aimed towards chillout genres but altso all kind of genres he find interesting.

"For me chill out is made to give pleasure to our souls. The music gives you the posibility to find peace in mind and makes you fly away from this world and discover the beautiful and peaceful universe of our own minds. I belive that the music brings peace, love, harmony and it gives people a light in their lifes."

He is altso a member of the danish community for alternative arts CrackWhoreModels, which includes both producers, djs and deco people. In 2008 started Senzar and one of the founders of CrackWhoreModels, a danish Chill Out label. Their aim is to promote danish chill-out music scene.

Senzar has played on many parties all over in Denmark. He has also played outside Denmark at the Fullmoon Festival(Germany), Tribe Of Frog(UK), Rhythms of Peace Festival(morocco), to name a few.

These days he is a member of the danish community for alternative arts CrackWhoreModels, which includes both producers, djs and deco people.

Irukanji (Kiev, Ukraine)

Behind Irukanji project standing talented musician and charismatic dj - Igor Orlovskiy, from 2003 to 2008 more known as member of Sphingida duet.

Created in 2008, Irukanji combined all experimental ideas and fresh twisted downtempo style. Irukanji is breaking all rules and standing beyond the scope. In his tracks you will here crazy conversion between pure psychedelic down beats and mysterious tales.

Spectrum Vision (Moscow, Russia)

Spectrum Vision Project was found in 2004 by two talented musicians Alexander (1n0x) and Ivan (Ujo). They was experimented in all and always where it can be. At this day, sound of Spectrum Vision have many ethnics themes with psychedelic experiments and beautiful melodic leads. Dmitry has joined the project in 2006.

In the future it is planned to release albums "spectrum vision", at which the laborious work is conducted now. All these 2 projects will bear in themselves a riddle of a space and inexpressible worlds of far galaxies. With this new sounding spectrum vision will cardinally change: it will be filled and slow downtempo grooves, with elements of a techno sound, that will intertwine with unusual space atmospheric pads. With this innovations, project wishes to leave from usual and familiar style to more experimental and unusual sound.

Saikozaurus (Odessa, Ukraine)

Saikozaurus is a solo project of Daniil Pastushenko aka Dj Liinad, born at 1980 in Odessa, Ukraine. In 1999 goa trance came into his life, growing fast on him, until in 2001 he evolved as a DJ. In 2003 Daniil started experiments with Cubase, in 2005 channeled his new scene name Saikozaurus.

Roof Raiser (Kiev, Ukraine)

Alexey Petrovskiy aka Roof Raiser was born 1986 in Kiev, Ukraine. He discovered electronic music in 1996 and start write his own tracks in 2000. Roof Raiser project was created in spring 2004. Styles which he writes in are Dark Psychedelic Trance and Ambient. Alexey can't live without Psychedelic music and always makes new experiments with his sound.

Alexander Daf (St.Petersburg, Russia)

Under Daf alias Alexander Ivanov - talented musician from St.Petersburg started musical career. His music imaginations is infinite ambient landscapes seasoned by most complicated idm and downtempo-rhythms. Intelligent soft sound-moods of Alexander Daf., beautiful backgrounds and warm atmospheres includes in each track got charted in the independent charts and played many various idm-Deejays.

Now Alexander continues actively acts in St.Petersburg, another city and country. Is the participant of promo-group Sun Station Records.
